Personality Project
In my family I have many important people and friends. First of all I have a family of five. I have a mom, a dad, two sisters and also myself. Both of my sisters have been with me since the day I have been born, and we are extremely close. Everything I do always relates to my family because we are so close. Besides that I also have two dogs, one named Jade and one named Jasmine, who are both Shetland Sheepdogs. Also a tradition I have with my family is going up north ever Labor Day to spend time with all of our cousins and relatives.
I have loads of inherited traits from my parents. First of all my dad is around like 6 foot 4 which is where I get my height from. Also my mom has blue eyes, and I got them from her which I think is really significant. Now besides that I get most of my strength from my dad, because he was extremely strong back when he was my age, so that’s the reason why. Now other than that I also have brownish blonde hair from my mom too. Even though those seem like quite a few inherited features, I have many more interesting things about me
Well.. My outer appearance has to do with a lot of brand names and clothes too. I absolutely love wearing jeans and some kind of a graphic tee, usually from American Eagle. If someone were to look into my room, they would see that I mostly of things from Oakley, American Eagle, DC, and Abercrombie. Basically the only thing I ever wear are those things, but I have to say American Eagle’s jeans are my favorite. That is only a little bit of my outer appearance, but there is so much more to me!
As many people know, I have quite a few inherited traits from my parents. I am a righty, and I have been this ever since the day I was born. The reason being is because my dad was and still is a righty, and I inherited it from him. Also I have kind of darkish tan skin which I get from my mom’s dad. If I’m in the sun and it’s extremely hot out I will get completely brown in around 3-4 hours, and that’s how fast I tan because of the skin I have. Another trait I have inherited was 20/20 vision from my mom, and I have probably the best vision in my family that sometimes my parents will call me eagle eye because I can see so many things!
Another thing to know about me is I have so many social things I like to do, and I also have a role model. For some reason I would have to say Christofer Drew is a role model, because all of his songs are so true, and everything about them makes me want to be like that someday. Also I love to play sports such as football and wrestling. Football let’s me be with all of my friends and work as a team and try my hardest, and it just entertains me. Wrestling however, on the other hand helps me become a lot stronger and is quite fun because it makes everyone able to get together and catch up and have a bunch of fun. Taking that in to mind, I also have a lot of skills and abilities.
During my whole life, I have been good and bad at many things, but there are sooo many skills and abilities that I have. I’m pretty good at baseball since I’ve been playing it ever since back in around first grade, I just absolutely love it. Also I love football and am good at it too. I have played Wide Receiver and Cornerback for football, but for some reason I like defense a lot more than offense. Beyond that, I am good and love playing all sports for Pewaukee because I’m not only good at them, but they give me something to do and make me feel good.
In my future I plan to become a mechanical engineer. Everything I do in school could relate to it because I’m good in math, good at science, and even good at the Robotics class. In my future I also would like to go to an engineering college like Milwaukee School of Engineering. Besides that I would love to start a family someday. The reason is because it would be fun to raise kids and teach them everything I’ve learned in my life, because they would learn so much, and not only that but it would give me something to do when my future wife is not home.
Everyday I absolutely love to eat, even though some of the stuff I eat isn’t so healthy for me I still manage to stay skinny. Usually when I eat with my family I eat around 6:30 every day. One of my favorite places to eat that is actually halfway decent is subway, and for some reason I just love their food! I’d have to say the same about Sonic, but not only is Sonic tasty but it is so unique! Whenever someone walks up their they will see how unique it is, because it is so old style! One of my favorite fancy places to eat is Jake’s Steakhouse though, because it is so tasty and they have the best steaks anybody could ever imagine.
In my life, I still have many fears and pet peeves. Whenever I see death or even hear about death, it freaks me out because I just can’t imagine someone I love or even just someone I know dying, because it breaks my heart. Another thing that makes me extremely nervous would have to be tests. I just can’t stand them.. Everything about them makes me frustrated. Now lastly there is one thing that can make me quite a bit sad sometimes, which is music. Whenever I’m stressed out and somehow I hear sad music or start listening to it, it makes me so sad and makes me think things through more.
Also in my life, there aren’t just things that make me sad and nervous, but I have some favorites too. I absolutely love the summertime because it’s a time to catch up with friends and it’s so warm it makes me want to live in the summer my whole life. My absolute favorite band would by far have to be nevershoutnever because everything about him is amazing, and his music is insane about how true it is. Lastly my favorite color is blue, if love everything that’s blue for some reason that I don’t know! If I were to choose anything, I just always look for what’s either blue and sometimes red. I also have a lot of favorite foods such as steak and burgers too!
Lastly there are some emotions and feelings that I tend to release when some things happen. Whenever someone dies I will no matter what bawl because I can’t take it in. It’s so hard when I’ve spent my whole life with someone and then in a second they’re just gone like that.. Also whenever I see someone get bullied I get super mad, because it is completely the wrong thing to do. Bullying is not something that makes people cool, just seem like idiots. Lastly the thing about me that not many guys do is I will actually let out and show my emotions, and it doesn’t mean I’m a wuss it’s just the way I am.
In my life I have went through so many life changing experiences. When I was born, many things happened. My family came closer because there was about a 10% chance of me living due to health condition called Beta Strep. Thankfully I am still here today though! Also a life experience I have had was going to Mexico, which I have been to more than 7 times now! Mexico is a place I have so much fun and get to enjoy myself for a week. But lastly.. there is one life experience that shines through the most. A few years ago, my great Grandpa ended up dying, and I learned so much from him and ever since he died the stuff he taught me has helped me in my everyday life.
As I made this project, I had so much fun with it. I was able to explain what goes on in my life and explain everything about me. Not only was I able to do that, but I didn’t get bored at all! I was completely entertained and it made me look more at what goes on in my life. I would consider doing this for any other classes because it is one of the times I have actually enjoyed myself when I wrote an essay.

Family:
On The slide for my family I had three pictures. One picture was of a dog, the dog is a schnoodle. A mix of a poodle and a schnauzer, same type of dog mine is. Another picture was five stick figures, one dad, one mom, two brothers, and a sister. Same as my family. The last picture was a giant ruler standing up with an arrow pointed to the 6’ 4. That stands for my family is very tall.
Inherited Features:
For my inherited features I also put up three pictures. One picture was a brown eye, I have very dark eyes that I get from my dad. I also get a big chin from my dad that is my other picture. My height I get from my dad too. That is why I put a picture of a tall person and a short person and put me in the middle at 6 foot 2 inches.
Outer Appearance:
For the outer appearance I have pictures of clothes I like to wear and brands I like. The Jordan shoes stand for my basketball shoes, those are the exact shoes I wear during basketball. The Nike brand is my favorite brand, I wear at least one Nike thing or more a day. I also put up shorts, I love wearing shorts. I hate jeans and sweatpants so I wear shorts almost every day I can.
Inherited Traits:
I have a picture of a right hand. Which stands for I am right handed. I also have a picture of a horse and hay next to it and him coughing saying Hay Fever. I only have one allergy, and that is Hay Fever which I get from my mom because she has it too. I also wear contacts. Well I am supposed to but I don’t. My mom also has bad eye sight.
Social Behavior:
I am very social. I am always playing Modern Warfare 2 with friends on Xbox Live. I also go to every Pewaukee Pirates’ basketball games that I can go to, boys or girls. One of my biggest role models is Kobe Bryant. I love the way he plays basketball, and him outside of basketball. He has respect for others and his style of play is one of the best in the NBA.
Talents, Skills and Abilities:
One of my favorite talents to skills I have is playing basketball. I am very good at basketball. One of my other skills is playing Xbox. I am pure legend. One of my abilities is not being flexible at all. I need to work on that tho.
Future Plans:
One of my future plans is to go to UCLA. I love Los Angles and I would love to go there. I would Major in something sports related. Another goal is to graduate from there. I would want to work on one of the Sport Centers sport shows.
Eating Habits:
I eat like there is no tomorrow. My favorite place to eat is Buffalo Wild Wings, I could eat there all day long if I could. I love everything on the menu. My favorite drink is Diet Coke, or Coca-Cola. One of my family’s favorite meals to make is taco soup. I hate it.
Fears and Pet Peeves:
One of my biggest fears is to break a bone. I have never done it before and it looks like it hurts a lot. So I plan on not doing that any time soon. I also hate close games with a little bit of time left. And one of my biggest times of getting nervous is right before a big game.
Favorites:
My favorite movie of all time is Coach Carter, a great basketball movie. If I cannot eat at buffalo wild wings, I will probably be eating microwavable meals. My favorite player in the NBA is Kobe Bryant. And the Background color is blue because that is my favorite color.
Emotions and Feelings
One of the only things that get me really mad is dumb questions, that people know that answer to. Something that makes me happy is when I make a shot. And one thing that makes me sad/mad is losing. I hate to lose or be wrong about anything.
Life Experiences:
Some of my favorite life experiences is winning championships at tournaments I have gone to since 5th grade. I have gone to the USC football game and watched some of the best players in the NFL today and were the best players in the NCAA at the time. But one of my biggest life experiences was winning MVP in the rec tournaments in 6th grade.

I liked this project a lot. It was fun and I got to see some of the things about me that I would usually thing about. There wasn’t anything I would change about this project.

As we grow older I believe we forget who we truly are as people. We are all different and unique, but sometimes it is hard to express all of these distinctive feature on the inside and outside of us. Many people see our outsides and know how we look and act, but what they don’t know is what is really going on inside our minds. By making a personality PowerPoint, it helps be to be able to show people who I really am so others can get to know me a little better.
Before I go on and start talking about myself, I should talk a little bit about my family. I have one brother, Christopher, a mom, Lisa, a dad, Jon, a dog, Toby, and a guinea pig, Flopsy. I have a picture of my dog in the top right hand corner of the first slide. He is a golden retriever and a poodle mix and is about 3 years old. Now, I do not have a picture of just me and my family, but I do have a picture on my whole moms side of the family in the bottom right hand corner. I love being with my mom’s side of the family because they are so much like me and I always have fun when I am with them. I also have a couple pictures of my brother and I on here from up north this past summer. We go up north to my great grandmas cottage every summer and it is always the best vacation ever. There is also a picture of my brother and I in the bottom left hand corner. We went to Washington D.C. to visit my parents friends in the fall, and this is a picture of me and my brother by the Washington Monument. Right in the center of this slide is a picture of my aunt Lois and me. We were at my great grandma’s 90th birthday party. My aunt substitutes at Pewaukee sometimes, and she is so outgoing and funny. The last two pictures on this slide are of my cousin Lauren, Megan, and me. We are the only girls out of the 9 kids from my mom’s side. I do almost everything with them, and have ever since I was little. We always have a good time and get along great. I love my family very much and nothing will change that.
Outer appearance is important for teens because they are afraid of rejection. What people don’t know though is that our appearance and physical features about us come from our parents. If you were to cut my hair the same way my mom’s style is and take a side portrait picture like I have, I would look like a younger version of my mom. My mom and I have the exact same nose, and overall, we look the same from the side. Everyone in my family have blue/grey/green eyes. You could say that my eyes are almost like my mom and dad’s, but yet they are still a little different. My eyes are many colors—deep blue, grey, green, brown, and yellow—but there are times when they look the same color as my parents. My last inherited trait from my parents would be my height. My extended family is not very tall, especially on my mom’s side. For some reason, my mom got the tall gene, which is why I am pretty tall for my age. Being tall has its advantages and disadvantages. It helps me in sports like basketball, but it is really hard to find jeans that are long enough. I would say that I have more traits from my mom than I do from my dad.
Along with inherited features, comes inherited traits from my parents as well. Both of my parents have about 20/40 vision. I just learned in the past few years that my vision has been a little blurry as well. I went to the Eye Doctor and found out I also have 20/40 vision. Since 6th grade I have had glasses, but I never really wore them because I didn’t like the way they looked. The picture of the red right hand resembles that everyone in my family is right handed, so I am assuming that is an inherited trait. My last picture on the inherited traits slide is of a girl with freckles and a cross through it. This shows that no one in my family has freckles.
Going along with looks is outer appearance style wise. I absolutely love clothes and fashion. I love starting new trends and staying up with the trends that are in. This year fashion trends that I saw were plaid, ugg boots, sequins, and fun day dresses. As you can see I have pictures of sequin skirts and dresses, ugg boots, and a plaid shirt. Some of my favorite stores to find these trends at are Victoria’s Secret Pink, Pac Sun, American Eagle, and Hollister. I have a picture of American Eagle jeans as well because they are my favorite brand of jeans to wear more than any other brand. They are very comfortable and I have about 10 pairs of them. Some products and accessories that I use are American Eagle jewelry, sparkle nail polish, a straightener, Bead Head hair products, and Clinique facial soap. American Eagle also has my favorite jewelry because it is young and fresh, yet sophisticated and modern. My favorite shampoo is Bed Head. It doesn’t make my hair look greasy or dirty, but instead, it always makes my hair smooth and shiny. Also having to do with my hair, I use a straightener a lot. My hair has a natural wave that I don’t really like, so I sometimes use my straightener to get rid of that wave. Lastly, my facial soap from Clinique works amazingly. I barely ever get and blemishes and my skin always feels smooth and looks fresh. I love the fresh look, and I love having my own style.
I am a very active and athletic person. My major sports that I play are basketball, soccer, and volleyball. Most of my pictures on my talents and skills slide are of me playing on my Pewaukee soccer team and my AAU basketball team. The pictures of me playing soccer are when my team went to a tournament in the Verona. Our team made it to the championship, but we lost. I was a close game, and you can see my team with our trophies in the bottom right corner. The other pictures are of me on my AAU basketball team. My team name is the Wisconsin Lakers, and I have been playing on this team since 5th grade. We participate in about 8 tournaments each summer, and most of the time we are pretty good. I got to know a lot of people from this team and I am really good friends with all of them.
As you can see, my personality really shows on the outside of me, and it is the same on the inside as well. When it comes to food and eating habits I can be a little picky, but I’m not that picky. I like to eat many different foods, but I would have to say my favorite things to eat are steak, dark chocolate, coconut, pears, and pomegranate seeds. I also really like sub sandwiches from Cousin’s Sub’s. They are so good, and they are way better than Subway. There are a few foods that do gross me out that I won’t eat. The two in the PowerPoint are jelly and tomatoes, but I also don’t like peas or scrambled eggs. Overall though, I will eat almost anything.
When it comes to fears on the other hand, I am very picky and have a lot of them. The main thing that I am afraid of is death. The thought of death just gives me the chills because it is not a pretty thing; it is a natural thing, but not a pretty thing. I am also very afraid of heights and rollercoasters. These two things go together perfectly because rollercoasters are very high up in the air. I am always afraid that something will break while I’m on the ride and I will die; this relates back to the idea of death. I never go in the ocean when I am on vacation because the ocean also creeps me out. The waves are so big that they could take you away in an instant and you could drown. Also, so many creatures live in there, one of them being sharks that I am also afraid of. The last big thing that I am afraid of are tornadoes. That is one of the only reasons why I hate the summer. Tornadoes are very dangerous and can do a lot of damage. I get freaked out when I think of being sucked up into the tornado and dying. Again, this relates to my fear of dying. Some other little things that I am afraid of are bumblebees, tests, snakes, and clowns. These things aren’t as big of fears as the other things I said, but I am still foremost afraid of all these things.
When it comes to answering favorites for things I have a problem with answering the question, because I don’t have many favorites. If you asked me what my favorite color was I would say yellow, but the truth is I honestly love every bright color. The one that would be the easiest though would be what my favorite number is. I would answer with the number 33. It has always been my favorite out of all the numbers I like, but I still really like the number 6, 8, 24, and 21. My favorite animal is also difficult to answer because I like a lot of animals, but I said my favorite animals were a monkey and a dragon. I also love elephants, giraffes, penguins, dogs, horses, cows, and bears. Everyone’s’ favorite holiday is Christmas, especially mine. I love everything about Christmas, but I just wish it was longer. My favorite sport is basketball, but I also love volleyball and soccer. Finally, my favorite thing to do is, of course, go shopping just like any other girl! Shopping was the best invention on the face of the earth.
My friends are one of the most important things in my life because they portray many good emotions and feelings in me. Whenever I am with my friends I am smiling and laughing and having fun. I love all of my friends and I wouldn’t be able to live without them. The middle picture is of Olivia R, Taylor K, Kelly L, Elli R, Allie H, and me on Cameroid.com. In the bottom left corner is Taylor, Allie, and me in the distorted camera on Cameroid.com again. The other 3 pictures are of Allie and me just messing around and having a good time. I love taking pictures with my friends, because then when I look back at the pictures I remember all the good times my friends and me had.
I have had way too many life experiences to count. Most of my experiences I put on this slide were of vacations or trips I have been on. In the top right corner is a picture of Yellow Stone National Park. I went to Wyoming in 2nd grade and was a great sightseeing place, especially to see wild animals such as roaming buffalo, antelope, bears, moose, and other interesting animals. The next picture, with the sailboat and lighthouse, is in Nantucket. I took a trip out east with my family about 3 summers ago and we went to Boston, Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, New York, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, and Cape Cod. Cape Cod was our last stop and when we were there, we took a boat across the ocean to an island called Nantucket. It was the prettiest little island I have ever been to. It’s not a tropical island, but its more old fashioned, and you just walk around in this miniature town instead of driving. The next picture is of Niagara Falls. I went here when we went on our out east trip. This was my second favorite stop on that trip. You can get so close to the water it is amazing. At night, if you are on the Canadian side, you can see the waterfall lit up in colorful lights, and it looks so pretty. My family and I went on this boat called “Maid of the Mist”. What you do is get on this boat, put on a poncho, and they take you really close to the waterfall at the bottom. It was one of the coolest and scariest things I have ever done in my life. When I was about 5, I went to Disney World. I don’t really remember much about this trip because I was so young, but I bet it was a lot of fun since I was a little kid and I got to meet a ton of the Disney Characters. Another trip that I just went on was to Virginia. My mom’s friends, like I explained before, live in Virginia. For the past two Thanksgivings we have been going out there to visit them, and each time we went to Washington D.C. for the day and saw all of the monuments. This was also a really cool trip to go on, and it really helped when it came to social studies this year. Every other year, my family and I are able to go to Hawaii for a week or 2. Awhile back, my dad bought this package that let you go to Hawaii or any other place every other year for the rest of your life. I have been there twice already, in kindergarten and 6th grade. This year is the year we can go again, but instead of going there, my family is going to Naples, Florida. This takes me to my last picture. My grandparents own a condo down in Florida, and ever since I was born I have been going down there almost every year. Everyone in my extended family also goes and uses the condo. It is fun because I know the area so it feels like home whenever I go there. I have been on many trips in my life, and there are many to come. This March, I am going down to Naples. Also, in July, my whole mom’s side of the family is going to Capo San Lucas, Mexico for my grandparents 50th anniversary. I am so excited and can’t wait.
In my future I plan to travel a lot just like my family does now, because I love to see different parts of the world. I would also like to have a family when I get older—a husband and 2 children. Before I start a family though, I would like to get a scholarship for either academics or sports and go to UW Madison. I am thinking about being some kind of designer whether it is interior or fashion. Some people say that I would be a good model, but I’m not sure if that is what I like to do. Many things are held in my future that I don’t even know are coming yet. I will just have to wait and see what happens.
There are many things you probably did not know about me before, but no you do. Throw this project I expressed myself as much as I could without overdoing it so people would know what kind of person I really am. Maybe I have a lot of things in common with someone that I didn’t know about, and now I will find out because I expressed myself. I liked this activity a lot. I liked how we could choose any application we wanted, so it was nice to have a wide variety. Overall, this was a fun and creative project.

For this project I had to find pictures that described parts of me such as my family, things I enjoy, fears, and more. I am going to explain my choices of my pictures for my personality project. My first category was My Family. For this category I chose pictures of Florida and Mexico. My family goes somewhere warm every year over spring break. I also put a picture of a fish, we have a pet fish at my house and his name is Fred. The sports fan picture is because my family is very athletic and we love to watch and play all sports. We also like to spend time with each other and go to movies or play games with each other, this is why I have a movie theatre picture.
The second category was Inherited Features. I have a picture of brown eyes. I got my brown eyes from my dad. I got my freckles from my mom so that is why I have freckles. Both my parents are tall so that is where I got my height. The next category is my outer appearance, this is why I have a Nike sign. I like Nike clothing and Nike shoes that is also have why I have Nike Hypermax’s. I use Menz shampoo that is why I have shampoo bottle on my project.
My inherited Traits are that I am right handed. That is why there is a golden right hand on the power point. I also have allergies, this is why I have someone sneezing on my project. My mom and my dad have glasses and I don’t have glasses. The next category is Social Behavior. I like playing outside with friends playing sports, such as basketball, baseball, and football. This is why I have Kobe on my project. I want to be like him in a way that I am good at basketball, not his other life. I have an X-Box on my project because I like playing video games against friends.
The next category is talents, skills, and abilities. I have basketballs, baseballs, footballs, and things related for sports for my project because I love sports. I put an X through music because I don’t play music on a instrument. I have a remote control car on it because I like to race remote cars, boats, and planes around at the park near my house in the summer time. My future plans are to become a physical therapist. I want to do this because I was in physical therapy before and it looked fun. I want to go to UW Wisconsin College and that is why I have my Wisconsin sign. I also want to get married and have kids that is why I have a family on my project.
My eating habits are that I love pizza and tacos. That is why I have pizza and tacos on my -project. My favorite fast food restaurant is cousins subs. It is healthy and I like the food there so it is good for me. My fears are that I am afraid of heights that is why I have a sky scraper on the power point. I have a pet peeve it is dirty. I like everything clean and I like it when people do their own dishes.
My favorite color is blue and my favorite school subject is math, I enjoy math more than I did when I was younger. My favorite number is 12 because it Is my number for everything but soccer. My soccer number is 17 but I like 12 better. My favorite holiday is Christmas. I like this because this is when everyone from my family can make it to my house for a big party it is really fun. What makes me happy is spending time with friends and family and having a good time. What also makes be happy is playing sports, every time I play sports I have a good time with my friends. What makes me frustrated is homework and things I need to do.
My life experiences are that I have been in a lot in tournaments for my sports, basketball, soccer, and baseball. I have won a lot of tournament and league games. Therefore I have won a lot of trophies and medals ,I am very proud of all of them. I have also lived in Pewaukee my whole life. I have a cross on my project because I was baptized when I was a baby and I will be confirmed in a year. These are my explanations of the pictures I used for my personality project.
For this project I had a fun time finding pictures and making a power point of my personality. I think that this was a good project to have to get to know your peers a little more. I would definitely recommend this project again for the next year students, it was fun.
